Anderson has worked in the oil and gas industry since obtaining his B.A. from Texas Tech University. Since 2006, however, Anderson has worked in the Oil and Gas Industry as the owner of Acoma Energy (formerly AED Group). Initially providing land services to a large grouping of oil and gas operators spread across the U.S.; Acoma now focuses primarily on mineral leasing and acquisition. At the peak of the servicing business Anderson handled almost a dozen different clients while utilizing 100 independent landmen in efforts to meet the needs and requirements of the client list. In 2014 a majority of the servicing business of AED Group, LLC was purchased by Holland Services out of Fort Worth, TX with financial backing from H.I.G. Capital out of Miami and New York. From there, Anderson knew he was finally going to have his chance at experiencing the ‘other’ side of the Oil business and simultaneously developed and produced several prosperous drilling prospects in the Permian Basin of West Texas. He has continued to lead Acoma Energy through several successful years of acquisition and prospect development and is a three time recipient of the Inc. 500/5000 Award, an exclusive award given to the fastest growing private companies in America. He looks forward to a future of similar experiences and achievements throughout his career.

Outside of the office, Anderson is a Colorado enthusiast and enjoys fishing, hiking, running, skiing and even participates in a Men’s soccer league. While his success at the office and workplace are paramount; he truly believes that his charitable time and attention to his chosen non-profit, Big Brothers Big Sisters, is one of the most important aspects of his daily life. Spending time with his ‘Little’ is one of his highest priorities as he truly believes giving time can be much more powerful than writing a check.
