President
Anderson has worked in the oil and gas industry since obtaining his B.A. from Texas Tech University. Initially providing land services to a large grouping of oil and gas operators spread across the U.S. as AED Group; Anderson and his team were managing 10+ client accounts as well as utilizing over 100 Independent Landmen simultaneously.
In 2014 the majority of the servicing business run by Anderson and AED Group was purchased by Holland Services out of Fort Worth, TX with financial backing from H.I.G. Capital out of Miami and New York. From there, Anderson knew he was finally going to have his chance at experiencing the ‘other’ side of the Oil business and simultaneously developed and produced several prosperous drilling prospects in the Permian Basin of West Texas. He has continued to lead Acoma Energy through several successful years of acquisition and prospect development and is a three-time recipient of the Inc. 500/5000 Award, an exclusive award given to the fastest-growing private companies in America. Fast forward almost 17 years later after his humble beginnings, Anderson and his team at Acoma now focus primarily on acquisition, development, and operations of oil and gas properties in various basins.
Outside of the office, Anderson spends most of his time with his family or trying to figure out the game of golf. While his success at the office and workplace are paramount; he truly believes that his kids and wife come first. He is a volunteer soccer coach for both of his girls’ soccer teams.
